Finished Images and Commentery

With this image I wanted the models to look close as a band so I had them huddle up close together  and look serious. I am heppy with the way the image turned out as it lookes like I had expected it to. The only thing i'm not to pleased with is Nick's face, it's supposed to be a serious picture but he is smiling

This photo was created to make the 'lead singer' look like he was 'crazy'. I am pleased with the outcome because I think I achived what I set out to do. I did it like this because I wanted the 'singer' to look strange and unique/ different. I am pleased with this.

In all honesty I'm not too please with this photograph as it is supposed to be serious and Elliot is smiling, he is also too close to the back of liams head leaving it with a shadow across half of his face. But on the other hand I suppose it could show the feeling that the band isn't all serious and they do have a fun side. Overall I don't like this photograph.

I'm relatively please with the outcome of this picture, it does serve the purpose but i am not entirely pleased with it. The image looks too edited and as a result of that it doesn't look all good.

This image I never used in the final piece of my coursework but am extremely please with the outcome. The only downfall of this image is that they stand out too much from the all they are in front of.  Other than that I'm happy with this image and wish I had used it in my work rather than one of the others.

The aim of this photoshoot will be to capture an image of the subjects looking like there in a band, whilst looking rather serious. This will link with the connotations of the product – GASH energy, concentration, energy. i will be using the blue screen for my photo shoot because when i am going to edit them, it will be easier to be able to remove the back ground if necessary. I'll be positioning them in generic band 'poses' to make it seem legitimate. i have researched poses that bands may do when being photographed and used them as a starting point.

Legal and Ethical issues in planning

In planning my photoshoot, I need to be careful not to produce images that might offend anyone - for instance by creating racial stereotypes or a sexiest representation of women. In my photographs I plan on having several people stood relatively close together dressed rather casual looking into the camera. There is a danger that hand gestures may seem offencive to people so we will stay clear of anything to do with hands. There will be a girl in the photographs but will be wearing nothing revealing to stay clear of the chance of the images becoming sexually provocative. I aim to make the photographs serious to get across that they take being in a band serious.

When taking the photographs I will make sure to get the permission of the owner of the area as it would be classed as trespassing and could lead to legal issues. Luckily I took my pictures in college so there was no need for me to get permission.
The law of trespass in relation to land is designed to protect an individual from unlawful interference by somebody else with his land.
Trespassing on to somebody else’s land without a lawful excuse is an offence itself and is one of the rare forms of tort claims in which a claimant can bring a claim without having to prove any damage has occurred. However, it is not a criminal offence and so property owners must bring their claim in the civil courts.
